Hi Everyone,

If you are wondering where I have been and why I haven’t been posting as much, the answer to these questions are very simple.

Where Have I Been?

So over the summer, I quit my full time job and became a consultant for them so that I can focus on completing my Doctorate degree. The orignal plan was for me to start my internship over the summer/fall and then transition into a full time intern role. I had a plan in place and was excited to move forward with it. However, the universe had another plan in mind.

What was supposed to be a smooth transition, ended up being anything but smooth. In fact, it was beyond chaotic. I struggled to find a site and I was very close to securing one. However, they decided not to take me on because I didnt have enough experience for them. It was very disheartening to hear that and it also resulted in me going down a mental health spiral which resulted in me making some rash decisions and questioning every decision I have made in the chaotic year of 2025.

While things calmed down for a bit, I am still feeling the effects of that spiral that happened. I still worry about my finances, my future career, and I still question the decisions that I made. But the one thing that has remained constant is my love for books. What has changed with that is where I post my reviews.

Why I haven’t posted on here

The answer to this question is a lot more simpler compared to the previous question. As much as I enjoy reading books and talking about them, I didn’t necessarily enjoy writing about them as much especially since I already post about it on my bookstagram. Writing here required a lot more effort and time that I no longer have. Which is why I made the not so difficult decision to stop here and focus on doing monthly reading reviews on my substack and posting video reviews on my bookstagram.
